With these pieces of work I found myself working on an intuitive level. At the time I was living in Brisbane at the time and my studio overlooked the city from Kangaroo Point. So the work began to evolve like the ever changing city landscape.
What is your inspiration/influences?
My inspiration comes from a wide range of visual and audio arts .One of my main influences is within the period Modernism and the focus on the Machine aesthetic .Also I have been Influenced by the biochemical surrealism movement ,as it was the first time I encountered this in 1978 when I was six years old and gazing upon the Art work of H.R.Giger.
What materials do you use?
I mainly work with fine silver (99.9) and sterling silver (725),However I also enjoy working with copper and brass for small objects I enjoy creating.
